An hour or so after Gabrielle and Siegfried had settled into their room, leaving about an hour left of sunlight, Jehoel would chime in...
< "Commander, Brother." >
Jehoel's mental voice came through showing the mental exhaustion and strain that had come to pass over the last few weeks. It was a wonder he had not been in Gabrielle's head hourly with such. And Jehoel was one of the ones that truly had kept in contact with the region he was overseeing with Amaros and Kyriel. He was the ones that generally gave in report for them. Perhaps it was because he could word it properly as to quell Gabrielle's potential anger at things.
< "I apologize for being silent these last couple of months. There has been so much going on between the Mediterranean States it is quite difficult to keep up, especially with the signs coming to pass that have shown themselves since Elita was found." >
Jehoel's pause momentarily was for the ordering of the disarray of information that was in his mind. Though not surprising, he was not one to enter into a Telepathic communication with the Illimar unless he had already done so. Apparently time was of the essence here, which is why Jehoel didn't meditate before reporting. There were small pauses between facts being reported.
< "Elita made it with the Authurian, who has been dispatched for the whole of Rome to see. She delivered your message and it was well received, though with her recovery, we have not been able to pinpoint a timeframe for a meeting if that is your wish...
Elita's recovery from the Casseus root has been slow going. Her senses with the Awakening are a bit awry and rather strong, which would be quite appropriate with the Esperanza bloodline as they tended to side with the Lycanthropes. The way she tracks, I wouldsay that the two Eperanza in the deserts were her children. But there is word commander that the Archons have rid the Frankish Empire of the Esperanza influence and she perhaps is the last, unless the two assigned to Charlemagne are still with him. But this apparently is something that Elita was not made privy to. I ve looked through her drawing and bard accounts and she was a captive for a short time of the Archons that invaded Gaul. If we can unlock some of the information within that she witnessed, then perhaps we will have a way in as she was able to escape their clutches. I have not spoken to Caesar of this yet, he already has enough on his plate and without confirmation of what the drawingsand writings speak... I do not wish to give false hope. Gaius is safe though there is worry of minions getting too close or within the walls of Rome. Elita was with the Bodaus heir when she was poisoned and she had just brought him back from the clutches of another Authurian. I believe, which may actually be to our benefit that Caesar and the General know of her lineage. There is little confirmation, but at the same time no denial of knowledge. If she did reveal herself to the Emperor, then she must have felt it most important to do so. The Casseus would have made it impossible for Elita to hide her true nature from the humans at the dosage she would have had to ingest to still be affected by it....
Romanus and I have spoken, he is attempting to keep the Mazzon at ease for now. While vicious in feeding, we do not need them to attempt a full scale war without the backing of the other Families and leave the Mani-Mazzon gifted the only Mazzon left. He seemed a bit tense, even though I woke him up. He said he would most likey be speaking with Kyriel soon about the Mazzon woman.
Kyriel sent wrd that the child of Charlemagne has recovered and has accepted the meeting with Caesar. We shall see where that leads. Good news for Egypt, an Amenophis made it to Rome. She is young and weak and I know Amaros would know her and perhaps you as well Siegfried. She said her name was Shaheerazad, adopted childe of Makhetsu. She stated the one to give her the gift of the night was Timket Vashran, whom if I remember right was Makhetsu's fourth son. Anyway, she stated it took her near five years to get out of Egypt safely. Since I do not remember her face, it means she has to be less than half of Amaros's age since it has been that long since I have been in Egypt, introducing Amaros to Mahkestu. I do not know if she told you, if you two met, or if Mahkestu did since I know the Vashran were deemed traitors to the Amenophis, but she was born within the lineage of Mahketsu, meaning, though she is young, she is of the Pharaoh line. She is determined, I will say that. She does not know it yet, but she was in the presence of Caesar. He has granted her a meeting, and perhaps she will be at a meeting that Caesar spoke of there being tonight.
Good and bad news from Greece and they go hand in hand, so I cannot separate the two. It seems Amaros's Grecian Fallen was correct in her visions. A young man from there, I would estimate about 10 years younger than the Bodaus General and the Emperor, is within the Legion that guards the Grecian Caesar. His father is none other than the supposedly retired Eletheurios Markos Gregorios, Amaros's father. It is not an area in which Amaros and I have met in a great number of years, but apparently Eli has again begun to procreate. The visions of Medomai's wife are the ones that spoke of the dead being reborn, the Mirmidon. It seems according to the words the child gave, unless I am reading into them, but the signs are there, the Mirmidon have been reborn several times and have been strategically placed within the Legions: two per Legion, except the child, whose name is Aiolos, Eli's son. He is the codemaker and decipherer of the Myotiko. And there is someone here in Rome old enough to know the Code and has used it to give information to the General and Caesar, which he very properly translated. {Sending of the vision of the map and so they could translate the Greco-Angelic mixture of text for themselves} So you see, there is enough information given that there is something awry amongst the Babylonians. Our suspicions of them being 'guided' to certain areas is foundated and mostly confirmed...
Medomai fell. This would explain Amaros's lack of communication in part. But, if his lover was correct, then the missing Mirmidon is Medomai's unknown daughter. Sight confirmation in Greece, in the village, but apparently she has vanished again. She has little training and control of her powers if what Eli said what true. Meaning she is a target for anyone. Medomai also had similar visions as his mother, but... he could not account for the 24th member before his passing. She fits the description however, and Eli is searching for her in an attempt to get her to Rome quickly and safely. Eli stated he never knew of the child and does not believe either Medomai or Amaros did either. Neither Medomai or Amaros ever spoke of how or when Achilles would be reborn, only that he would, and his presence would be known after all the Mirmidon were in place...
A Mazzon representative has made it to Rome. I have not been able to confirm much by way of Romanus, but I do believe this is his charge. I have not yet met her, but I will see if I can pick up on her lineage to confirm or deny this. I will report as soon as I know for certain." >
He stopped again as he began to reorder his thoughts in hopes to make certain he did not forget anything. It was obvious he had yet to use the one tool that would give them an advantage, though Jehoel was one that enjoyed a first time walkthrough of a labyrinth and not being led through it. He had just gotten much information and between keeping things at an even keel, bringing Caesar up to speed and new information coming at them like flies to a pile of dung, there were details he was sure he was forgetting. He hoped that any questions or reactions from the Commander or Siegfried would jog his memory in the smaller, though more intricate details.
